Muse on the Loose is designed to be a fun, creative, and safe place for people to come together and share art in all its forms.
Becoming a Contributor
If you're an artsy soul who would like to contribute to this blog, simply send an email to museonthelooseinformation@gmail.com, telling me why you'd like to be a contributor (and don't worry, I promise not to do anything creepy with your email address). I will send you an invitation to become a blog author. When that invitation shows up in your email inbox, it will contain a link to Blogger's step-by-step instructions on how to become a blog contributor. Being a contributor does not mean that you should feel obligated to post on a regular basis. I am very much aware that life can be crazy, so don't feel guilty if you disappear from Blogger world for long periods of time.
If you're new to this whole thing and find yourself getting hopelessly stuck in the complexities of blogging, don't hesitate to send me an email. I'll do my best to help you out.
What to Contribute
Your own work is always welcome, as is anything that inspires you or that has helped you become a better artist. When you're posting, please use labels to categorize your post as one (or several) of the following:
Music (tell us about a great artist, or share a link to a playlist of your favorite inspirational music).
Art/Photography
Poetry
Short Stories
Resources (this could be anything from a link to your favorite artsy blog, to your favorite poetry book, to an interesting article about Van Gogh, to a tutorial on jewelry-making).
Scribblings (your thoughts about art, the creative process, or anything else that's relevant).
Quotes ('cause great quotes are just awesome)!
Crafts
If you share another artist's work, please credit them and, if possible, include a prominent, well-marked link back to their website or blog. If you'd like to have your own blog or website listed on Muse on the Loose, send me a link and I'll post it in the sidebar.
What NOT to Contribute
Let's keep this place as clean as possible! Please refrain from posting or sharing any direct links to material that contains foul language/cursing, sexual content, nudity, pornography, extreme gore/violence, and drug references. As administrator, I reserve the right to edit and/or delete posts that contain objectionable content.
This blog is still in its infancy, so please feel free to contact me with suggestions and ideas about how to make it better.
